Packaging shipping to partners
Step 1
Every morning all of our partners come to load the punnets and boxes they need
Fruit reception
Step 2
Fruit is received and marked with PDA in order to know how many kilos are disposed in the cooperative in real time. Here traceability starts. Partner’s delivery note will be drawn up with an item number, and also partner’s information, farm and plot the fruit comes from along with products used.
Recepcion
Step 3
Afterwards, the recepcionist transports the pallets to one of the freezers where fruit gets cold at a temperature of 8 and 10 ºC. At this point an external company gathers for quality sampling.
Handling
Step 4
17 FlowPack handling lines, which 45.000 kilos/hour can picked through. Automatic palletizing: 11 pallets that are put on 9 palletizers: 99 pallets/hour
Strapping
Paso 5
Automatic strapping: 95 pallets/hour.
Each pallet is labeled with a bar code that gives information about the fruit, partner, area, plot…
Freezer tunnels and maintenance
Step 6
Pallets are transported to 15 freeze tunnels, where fruit gets firstly cold between 2º and 4ºC.
The time that fruit needs to reach that temperature is one hour around. Capacity: 7,5 refrigerated trucks per hour.
Shipping
Step 7
Pallets pass to cooling rooms to keep the temperature until they are shipped and loaded.
We identify them in order to end up traceability process and to know where the fruit comes from and where it goes.
